Dear friends, the word of God tells us/ shows us that for God to lift Us up we are required to first be humble before the Lord. Just in the the same manner that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ humbled himself by being persecuted and crucified on the cross the Lord God Jehovah raised him up on the third. So that me and you could be saved.
Now as believers of the the word of God and followers of Christ Jesus, we are to be humble for us to be able be lifted up. My prayer this morning is that: "God to an able you and your family to be humble before him so that He can Lift you up, and that you open you heart and recieved the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. In the might name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth AMEN".
Now, friends when a person is humble he/she automatically develops in themselves the fruits of the spirit (Galatians 5: 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.)
Humble people love all persons, they are joyful, peaceful and they withstand all kinds of suffering with control, they do not burst with anger. They never treat you with wrath for they are not controlled by the flesh but by the Spirit of God.
A man is flesh and the flesh has its desires (Galatians 5: 19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, c fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, d drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practise such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.)
Now for a man to transform from flesh man to spirit man he has be born, for the second time.(John 3: 3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” 4 Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.)
This is to transform from the Adam personality to Jesus personality, Jesus was a humble person, when a man is humble He cannot sin because he is obedient. By being born again we are initializing the spirit of Jesus Christ in you and his power, protection, legacy takes over you life. By accepting Him as your Lord and saviour you inherit his son ship(He is the son of God) and you became a child of God.
